Week 11

Dear Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. It's always a pleasure to update you on the progress of our amazing students. I am incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication as they continue to excel week by week.

As we enter a shorter week, I'd like to remind both students and parents that an important milestone is just around the corner - the Unit Test. The students have been diligently preparing, and they've also received the scope of the exam, which is neatly organized in their communication books. For your convenience, I will also share the exam scope in our Line group, so you can easily access it and support your child's preparation.

Please find the homework underneath.

I appreciate your ongoing support and involvement in your child's education. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Together, we can ensure their continued success.

Warm regards,

Teacher Steph

I am the English teacher for G3 i1.  I hope this message finds you w ell. I wanted to provide you with some important information regarding homework assignments and communication. Homework is an integral part of your child's learning journey, and to ensure their progress, we have implemented a routine. Starting from yesterday, your child began receiving daily homework assignments. This practice will continue throughout the week, except in cases where no homework is assigned. In such instances, your child will note "No Homework" in their communication book.   Hi Parents, Oh no! We had to work on a Saturday! 😉 Today, I've returned yesterday's unit test. It was a difficult unit test, but the class's average has improved. The average for the first test was 60%. Their average for yesterday's test is 70%.  I asked the students to prepare for the listening, oral, and written exam. For the oral exam the students must practice reading p. 61 in the Reading Street Reader. (The thick story book.) On exam day they will read to me one by one, and I will ask them questions about p.61. I will return all the tests they've written on Monday. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Warm regards,  Mr. van der Westhuizen
